Medina County
400 Mbps Air Fiber. No contracts. No data caps. Local support you can actually reach.
Rio Medina follows the bends of the Medina River north of Castroville, where wooded homesites and ranch properties sit between the river and Medina Lake.
Tree canopy along the river is tough on satellite dishes, and wired options in 78066 are limited. STI's Air Fiber comes from a nearby tower instead of the sky: 400 Mbps down / 25 Mbps up for $65/month, with no contract and local support in Hondo.
ZIP code served: 78066
Coverage note: The river terrain means coverage varies property by property. Call (830) 429-4149 before scheduling — we'll give you an honest read on your address before a site visit.
Our installers assess each Rio Medina property individually, using antenna placement and height to find a clean line to the tower, and many homes that struggled with satellite here work well on fixed wireless. With San Antonio 30 to 40 minutes away, a lot of residents work hybrid — and 25 Mbps upload is what video calls and VPNs need.
When something goes wrong, you call (830) 429-4149 — and you talk to someone who lives and works in South Texas. Not a ticket system. Not an overseas call center. And new customers are installed within one business day.

Often, yes. Satellite needs open sky overhead; Air Fiber needs a line to a nearby tower, and our installers look for it property by property with antenna placement and height. The river terrain varies, so call (830) 429-4149 and we'll give you an honest read before a site visit.
One plan, one price: Velocity 400 is $65/month flat for 400 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload. No contracts, no data caps, no setup fees, and taxes are included.
Air Fiber comes from a ground-based tower here in South Texas, not a satellite in orbit. Many Medina County households compare it with Starlink, whose 400 Mbps plan is $130/month; STI is $65/month with 25 Mbps upload for video calls and remote work — $780/year less than Starlink's 400 Mbps plan.
